After receiving her BFA from the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC artist Lisa Mordhorst moved to New York City and continues to show her work exploring nuances of the natural world through photography and sculpture. Her work narrates her international travels where the imagery is collected.

Mordhorst has received an Athena Foundation Grant through artist Mark di Suvero, has exhibited her work nationally and is included in the Houston Museum of Fine Arts photography collection.
